But wait what exactly is burnout?


What is Burnout?

Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress, It's not merely feeling tired or overwhelmed; its the point where you feel emptied, void of motivation, and no feeling of care or empathy. Unlike typical feelings of stress or fatigue, burnout doesn't go away after taking a break or getting a good night's sleep it takes work and revitalization to climb back up that hill and to get out the hole you in.


Signs of Burnout

So how do you know if you're experiencing burnout, other than the gut wrenching pain and stress you deal with daily to pry your self out of bed in the morning. Here are some common signs you can be on the lookout for:


Emotional Exhaustion: Feeling drained unable to cope and emotionally depleted.

Cynicism or Detachment: A loss of enjoyment in tasks you may have use to love, feeling disconnected from others.

Reduced Performance: Struggling to concentrate or complete tasks; feeling ineffective in your role.

Physical Symptoms: Can include Headaches, digestive issues, and changes in sleep or appetite.


But Don't Worry! There's hope for recovery. Burnout isn't a life sentence type of thing. Recovery is possible. In fact, acknowledging that you're experiencing burnout is the first crucial step toward healing and reclaiming your life.
